Global mold manufacturer, & supplier, in NW Suburbs of Chicago seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to join their family centered culture. With over a half century of service to their customers, being committed to continuous improvement, and offering a “one stop shop” (product design to shipping the final product), they are high tech mold-makers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and train the Maintenance team to ensure equipment is running smoothly and limits downtime of injection molding presses
- Work with Production to schedule PMs and maintain a great preventative maintenance plan
- Identify potential root cause for machine disruption and delegate resolving these issues
- Monitor, identify and respond promptly to signs of malfunctions of machinery
- Analyze parts inventory and purchase supply when necessary
- Understand and maintain high standard of good 5S practices
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, Associates or Journeyman, preferred
- Strong mechanical and maintenance aptitude
- 3+ years experience in an injection molding manufacturing environment
